I am a medical researcher and public health advocate dedicated to advancing vaccine equity and eliminating vaccine-preventable diseases in Africa. I hold a Ph.D. in Public Health from the Central University of Nicaragua and have published over 15 research works in international journals. My work focuses on vaccine hesitancy, the impact of vaccination programs, and addressing barriers to uptake through evidence-based solutions, community engagement, and mentoring future vaccine advocates.
I have served as a 2022 WHO Fellow on COVID-19 Recovery for routine immunization and a 2023 GirlLead Fellow. I am an Independent Researcher actively involved in community-based initiatives that promote vaccine education and awareness. I also serve as a Board of Studies member at Texila American University, Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research, and the Women Reform Organisation.
Beyond research, I am passionate about mentoring, knowledge transfer, and building capacity for young scientists and public health leaders. I bring resilience, vision, and a solutions-driven mindset to my work, guided by a deep belief that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare. Having lived and worked in Nigeria, the UK, and Togo, I value collaboration and cross-cultural approaches to strengthening health systems.
