I am a physiotherapist and public health professional with a passion for conducting research on non-communicable diseases (NCDs) to improve the quality of life in our communities. I hold a Master’s degree in Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (formerly the University of Malawi, College of Medicine).
I have gained valuable experience as a research intern with Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, the NCD BRITE Project, and the Health Economics Policy Unit (HEPU). My research focuses on improving healthcare access and quality, particularly through the study of patient-reported outcomes and their role in enhancing healthcare services.
Recently, I published a study examining the validity and reliability of tools used to measure client experiences and satisfaction with health care in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). I am driven by a desire to contribute to healthcare quality improvement through research and the implementation of evidence-based interventions.
