I am the Senior Programme Officer at Development Governance International Consult. I am passionate about Universal Health Coverage (UHC), and my career goal is to leverage my technical skills to advance public health and ensure health for all. I am dedicated to leveraging my technical and analytical skills to generate evidence for health, influence health policies, contribute to health sector reforms, and advance grassroots health literacy, all with the goal of achieving universal health for all. My technical expertise spans governance, institutional capacity strengthening, health systems diagnostics, domestic resource mobilization for health, human resource for health (HRH) optimization, and multi-sectoral stakeholder engagement.
I hold an MSc (Distinction) and a BSc (First Class) in Microbiology from the University of Lagos and have over three years of experience designing, implementing, and managing health systems strengthening interventions to improve public health. I have led and supported the implementation of donor-funded projects and contracts with organizations such as Christian Aid, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the United States Agency for International Development, the Global Health Advocacy Incubator, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative.
I am an active member of the Nigeria UHC Forum and the Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage, where I participated in a learning exchange on HRH resource optimization to enhance healthcare service delivery. Additionally, I recently completed the Health Leadership and Literacy Program organized by the West Africa Institute of Public Health.
